Bengaluru-based fashion startup UniqYou has raised Rs 15.8 crore in seed funding. Arkam Ventures and Antler led the round, with several angel investors also participating. The funding values the company at approximately Rs 64 crore post-money.
Founded in 2026, UniqYou is building a technology-led platform focused on women’s fashion. Its model combines artificial intelligence with fashion trend discovery and product recommendations.
What Happened?
According to regulatory filings reported by The India Bizz, UniqYou issued 37,487 Compulsorily Convertible Preference Shares. Each share was issued at Rs 4,215, helping the company raise Rs 15.8 crore.
Arkam Ventures invested Rs 9.3 crore, making it the largest investor in the round. Antler contributed Rs 4.96 crore, while angel investor Ankit Garg invested Rs 1 crore. Other participants included Abhishek Goyal, Chaitanya Ramalingegowda, Raveen Sastry and Nandita Sinha.
A Technology-Led Fashion Model

UniqYou was founded by Sneha Priya Reddy and Nishanth Jois in Bengaluru. The company is developing a fashion platform that uses AI to identify emerging trends and understand changing consumer preferences.
As Women Entrepreneurs Review reports, the startup aims to combine fashion with technology. Its platform is designed to identify products that align with the preferences of modern women consumers.
This approach places data and technology at the centre of the fashion discovery process. It also reflects the growing use of AI across product selection, merchandising and consumer recommendations.
Fresh Capital to Support Growth

The new funding will primarily support UniqYou’s working capital requirements and general corporate purposes. This gives the startup capital to build its operations during its early stage.
The funding also provides UniqYou with institutional backing as it develops its technology platform. Its post-money valuation now stands at around Rs 64 crore.
Earlier reports had already pointed to investor interest in UniqYou. Moneycontrol reported in June that Arkam Ventures and Antler were negotiating a Rs 12 crore investment in the fashion startup. The report also noted that UniqYou was preparing to launch its AI-led fashion platform.
Experienced Investors Join the Round

The funding round includes investors with experience across India’s technology, consumer and commerce sectors. Their participation adds industry experience alongside the institutional capital.
According to CEO VINE, the investor group includes Tracxn co-founder Abhishek Goyal, Wakefit co-founder Chaitanya Ramalingegowda, Myntra co-founder Raveen Sastry and former Myntra CEO Nandita Sinha.
Their experience spans consumer internet, technology, e-commerce and digital commerce businesses. For an early-stage fashion startup, such investor participation can provide access to expertise beyond financial capital.
What This Means for Fashion & D2C
UniqYou’s fundraise highlights the growing intersection between fashion and technology. Traditional fashion businesses often make product and inventory decisions before consumer demand becomes clear.
AI-led trend discovery can potentially help brands respond faster to changing preferences. However, technology remains only one part of building a successful fashion business.
Product quality, pricing, fit, inventory management and customer acquisition will remain important as UniqYou scales. The company will need to convert its technology-led proposition into sustained consumer demand.
A Growing Fashion-Tech Opportunity

UniqYou’s funding comes amid continued investor activity across India’s fashion and apparel startup ecosystem. Other fashion companies have also raised capital across different stages during 2025 and 2026.
The latest round gives UniqYou early capital to develop its platform and fashion offering. It also places the startup within a broader group of D2C brands exploring technology-led approaches to consumer fashion.
For UniqYou, the next phase will be about turning its AI capabilities into relevant products and repeat customer demand. Its ability to combine technology with fashion execution will shape its growth as the business develops.
