Lifestyle Expands NCR Presence With New Faridabad Store

Lifestyle is expanding its presence in the National Capital Region with a new 24,000 sq. ft. anchor store at The Icon, Faridabad.

The store will occupy the ground and first floors of Bhumika Realty’s mixed-use development. The move adds another major fashion retailer to Faridabad’s expanding organized retail landscape.

According to an Indian Retailer’s report, Lifestyle currently operates more than 77 stores across 44 Indian cities and offers more than 300 international brands across fashion, footwear, beauty and accessories.

What Happened?

Bhumika Realty has announced the signing of Lifestyle as an anchor retailer at The Icon in Faridabad.

The 24,000 sq. ft. store will span two levels of the development. The addition strengthens the project’s fashion and lifestyle retail offering as The Icon develops into a mixed-use destination.

Lifestyle is part of the Dubai-based Landmark Group. Globally, the retailer operates more than 170 stores across eight countries.

The Faridabad store will add to Lifestyle’s existing Indian network and further extend its presence across the NCR region.

The Icon is being developed as an integrated destination combining retail, entertainment, hospitality and residential spaces.

The project is located on NH-19, Delhi–Mathura Road, Sector 27A, Faridabad. Its retail component is being positioned around premium and large-format brands.

The development also includes a planned 25,000 sq. ft. PVR INOX multiplex, adding an entertainment component alongside retail.

IndiaRetailing’s coverage reports that Lifestyle’s addition is expected to strengthen the retail mix at The Icon, while the project combines shopping, entertainment, hospitality and residential components.

Lifestyle offers products across multiple categories, including fashion, footwear, beauty and accessories. Its portfolio includes more than 300 international brands.

The retailer’s expansion into Faridabad adds a large-format fashion destination to a developing mixed-use project. Its broad assortment spans categories such as women’s Western Wear, women’s Footwear and Beauty & Personal Care, giving shoppers access to multiple lifestyle needs under one roof.

For consumers, the store is expected to provide access to Lifestyle’s multi-brand format closer to home. For The Icon, the retailer adds another established anchor to its developing brand ecosystem.

According to Franchise India, Lifestyle operates across eight countries with more than 170 stores and has more than 77 stores across 44 Indian cities.

Why Faridabad Matters for NCR Retail

Why Faridabad Matters for NCR Retail

Faridabad is part of the wider NCR consumption market and is seeing continued investment in organized retail.

The Icon’s location on the Delhi–Mathura Road corridor provides access to a major movement route through the city. Its mixed-use format is also designed to combine retail with entertainment, hospitality and residential uses.

This format can create multiple reasons for consumers to visit the development. Retailers can potentially benefit from the combined footfall generated by different parts of the project.

The Economic Times reported that Bhumika Realty has leased the 24,000 sq. ft. space to Lifestyle as the project develops its organized retail offering.

What This Means for Fashion & Retail

Lifestyle’s Faridabad expansion reflects the continued role of physical retail in India’s fashion market.

Large-format stores allow multi-brand retailers to bring several categories and brands together under one roof. They also provide consumers with an offline shopping experience that complements online discovery.

For developers, established fashion anchors can help strengthen a project’s retail proposition. The combination of Lifestyle and PVR INOX gives The Icon both fashion and entertainment components.

As more organized retailers expand into developing NCR markets, retail destinations outside the traditional Delhi and Gurugram hubs could become increasingly important.

The Road Ahead

Lifestyle’s new store adds another established fashion retailer to Faridabad’s expanding organized retail ecosystem.

The Icon is being developed as a broader lifestyle destination rather than a standalone shopping center. Its retail, entertainment, hospitality and residential components are intended to operate as part of one integrated development.

The addition of Lifestyle therefore fits into the project’s wider strategy of building a diversified consumer destination in Faridabad.
